Abstract

L’hypnose connaît de nos jours un très fort engouement dans le champ de la médecine, et plus particulièrement dans le domaine de l’algologie. Pourtant, au moins historiquement, l’hypnose est avant tout la « mère » de toutes les psychothérapies et de la psychanalyse. Bien que Freud n’ait pas totalement délaissé l’hypnose pour la psychanalyse, elle sera néanmoins estompée par le développement de « la science de l’âme ». Actuellement, elle semble peu à peu retrouver sa place oubliée, et sous la dénomination « d’hypnothérapie », psychiatres, psychologues et psychanalyses redécouvrent peu à peu la richesse clinique à laquelle son usage donne lieu. Pour autant, la méthode hypnotique n’est pas similaire dans son application et ses objectifs selon le cadre de pratique auquel une profession mène. Particulièrement est ici envisagée la façon dont l’hypnose s’est inscrite dans le champ des psychothérapies, de la psychologie clinique, et ses spécificités d’usage dans ce domaine de savoir et de pratique.

There is nowadays a very strong interest for hypnosis in the field of medicine, and more particularly in the field of pain treatment. However, at least historically, hypnosis is before all the mother of all psychotherapies and psychoanalysis. Although Freud did not completely forsake hypnosis for the psychoanalysis, it nevertheless will be blurred by the development of the science of the soul. Currently, hypnosis seems to find its forgotten place, and under the denomination of hypnotherapy, psychiatrists, psychologists and psychoanalysts rediscover the clinical richness to which its use gives place. For as much, the hypnotic method is not similar in its application and its objectives according to the framework of the various practices. Particularly is considered here the way in which hypnosis fitted in the field of psychotherapies, of clinic psychology, and its specificities of use in this field of knowing and of practice.
